Do you need help?
If you have experienced inappropriate treatment in your hobbies, and you want to talk about it, we are here to help.

If emotional bruises showed on the skinÂ
Emotional and physical abuse in leisure activities is not always visible. You can and should seek help for emotional bruises too. Â
Our campaign highlights emotional and physical abuse, which can easily be overlooked or remain unnoticed. Hurtful words, actions and situations can take the joy out of a hobby and leave you feeling afraid, ashamed or inadequate.Â
Humiliation or bullying has no place in any hobby. We invite everyone to join us in making the invisible visible. Read more and make use of our media library.Â

You Are Not Alone
You Are Not Alone started as a collaborative venture between the Family Federation of Finland (Väestöliitto RY) and Finnish sporting actors in 2018, and has since expanded to provide support and services to other hobbies in 2025. Our service aims to prevent and reduce harassment, discrimination, bullying and violence especially in children’s hobbies and sports.

Up to a quarter of young athletes involved in a sporting club have experienced inappropriate treatment.
