Suomen liikunnan aluejärjestöt RY offers mediation to sports organizations free of charge. Mediation is a process that helps to alleviate grievances and conflicts with the help of an outside party through unbiased listening and understanding. Mediation is an option when talks within the club have not lead to an adequate conclusion, or have broken down entirely. Mediation is a voluntary, impartial and a confidential process that requires the consent of all attending parties. If any of the participating parties are under 18, the consent of their parents of guardians is also needed. Consent is validated once the mediators recieve the request for mediation.
